RCCG House Fellowship Leader’s Manual 10 May 2020, Lesson 37 – Stagnation Is Not Your Portion

TOPIC: Stagnation Is Not Your Portion (scroll down for RCCG House Fellowship 10 May 2020 Anthem)

PRAYER POINT: Father, please every area I am experiencing stagnancy, let me hence forth be progressive.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Leader should ask members to discuss lessons from the little beginning of our Lord Jesus.

MEMORY VERSE: “And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:” – Exodus 14:15

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Stagnation is the state of being at a spot for a very long time without achieving any progress either spiritually, physically or otherwise. This is actually against the purpose of God for our lives. It is devil’s tactics to employ stagnation first and foremost then gradually move to discouragement in the process of making someone to commit suicide, and end up in hell fire. Holy Spirit will teach us the more in Jesus Name. Amen.
